Diversity Summit 2021: Mentoring Matters - Preparing for a Diverse World | University of Denver

Excelling Leaders Institute (ELI) is a long-standing mentoring program for minoritized students of color that boasts a vibrant alumni network of over 200. In this session, you will learn about the value of mentoring and the basics of setting up a mentoring program to support minoritized student populations. This session featured storytelling from mentors and mentees. The presenters shared the details of how they run their mentorship program and their organizational structure. They demonstrated the mentor experience so participants could experience what a mentoring dialogue might look, sound, and feel like.
