Senator Peter H. Dominick (R-Colo.) delivers his weekly radio address, Report from Washington, on April 2, 1965. Sen. Dominick commends the city of Boulder, Colorado for being named by U.S. News & World Report as one of the most pleasant places to live in the United States. Dominick says that the attributes that caused Boulder to win this distinction can also be applied to the State of Colorado. He then enumerates some of these attributes including a low crime rate, a diversified economy with growth potential, a youthful population, numerous resort and recreation areas, and mineral resources such as oil shale and natural gas.
