About the Expert: Dr. Mark Pleiss is a Visiting Teaching Assistant Professor in the Center for World Languages and Cultures who specializes in contemporary Spanish peninsular literature, and cultural connections between the U. S. and Spain. He is also a researcher in the world of educational development and publishes on strategies for implementing graduate student professional development, especially teacher training and support. Mark was also a finalist for the Colorado Book Award this past year for his collection of short stories, April Warnings.
