Faculty Showcase: Based on John Dewey’s ideas on aesthetics as well as our own empirical research, we suggest that classroom teaching can be enhanced to turn ordinary classroom experiences into extraordinary ones. Instructors do not need to completely revolutionize their teaching; lectures as well as experiential learning activities can be taught in notable ways in any classroom.
