In this inaugural Jeffrey Jenson Research Award address, Professor Heather Taussig will discuss the development, testing, and implementation of Fostering Healthy Futures, a preventive intervention for children who have experienced involvement in the child welfare system. She will share her perspectives on how intervention research can have implications for practice far beyond the specific program being tested. Taussig will discuss lessons learned from embracing multidisciplinary perspectives, focusing on impacts for diverse stakeholders, and being open to multiple ways of “knowing” whether something works.
