An Interview with Catherine

Originally designed to be part of a bigger project, this is a short interview between a graduate student of social work and a member of the Lakewood Community Justice Partners (LCJP) organization. In this video, Catherine (LCJP volunteer) explains her experience working with LCKP and why she continues to volunteer with them despite numerous opportunities in and around Denver. Catherine explains that’s working with LCJP allows her to use her previous skills and be able to help the community. She believes that by working with LCJP she is helping people become whole by focusing on their pre-existing skills and allowing them to return to the community as active effective members.
