Don Bacon, recipient of the 2013 Distinguished Scholar Award. Don Bacon is a professor of Marketing for the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver. He holds a PhD in marketing from the University of Michigan. Bacon applies psychometric theory and multivariate statistics to such problems as customer satisfaction and lifetime value, how students perform in groups, the assessment of written communication skills and how long students retain what they have learned.
