At our 4th Annual Educating Tomorrow’s Lawyers Conference, Building on the Foundations for Practice, Erika Pagano of the University of Miami School of Law and LawWithoutWalls presented on the projects and goals of LawWithoutWalls, a part-virtual collaborator focused on building 21st century lawyering skills.
Pagano spoke about the LawWithoutWalls model – teams of law and business students are guided by academic, business, lawyer, and entrepreneur mentors as they tackle tough topics, discerning solutions and creating their own start-up. The teams then pitch their ideas to a multidisciplinary panel of judges. Pagano says that LawWithoutWalls answers the call for 21st century lawyers to go above and beyond.
