COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) at the University of Denver.
What is it? What value does it bring to DU? What does it look like at DU?
Join the Office of Internationalization on October 29 at noon-1pm to learn about Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL). COIL is a pedagogical method of virtually connecting classes at DU with students and faculty at institutions abroad. During the session, we will discuss various approaches to COIL, the value it brings to the 4D student experience and ways to partner with the Office of Internationalization to add COIL to your course(s).
COIL allows faculty to build new connections or strengthen current ones with colleagues at institutions abroad. INTZ will be shortly announcing funding grants to support faculty courses that embrace COIL.
The session will be conducted live and will be recorded. Please register at the link to attend the session and/or to receive the recording.
This workshop is part of the Internationalization Summit Workshop Series. Upcoming virtual workshops on topics around education abroad, international student and scholars, English language education, and more!
Mark your calendar to join us on April 16, 2021 for the annual Internationalization Summit.
