Introduction to using generative AI in your courses

This brief video is meant as an overview for students new to DU on the use of generative AI in your courses. As we describe in the video, each course will have a different AI policy, and you should always check with your professor before using it for your coursework. This video was produced by first-year students enrolled in Professor Richard Colby’s WRIT 1733 course in Spring 2026.
