JoNel Newman: Students' Self Assessments of Competency

At our 4th Annual Educating Tomorrow’s Lawyers Conference, Building on the Foundations for Practice, JoNel Newman of the University of Miami School of Law presented on students' self assessments pre- and post-clinic.

Newman walked attendees through the 16 learning goals, representing lawyer core competencies, that students of the Health Rights Clinic rated themselves on, as well as their understanding of professionalism.
