Rabbi Manuel Laderman reflects on his move from Chicago Illinois to Denver in 1932 after being ordained as an orthodox Rabbi. Laderman came to serve as Rabbi at the Hebrew Educational Alliance. Discusses the history of the Denver Jewish community earning his PhD at Iliff School of Theology experiencing anti-semitism and the Klu Klux Klan in Denver WWII and his participation in the National Conference of Christians and Jews (now known as the National Conference for Community and Justice). Reflects on the diversity of Denver and efforts to engender unity in the larger community. Discusses the role of the Jewish organizations in treating tuberculosis patients in Colorado. Finally Laderman discusses teaching at the University of Denver and the University of Colorado at Denver.
