Kate Crowe, Associate Professor and Curator of the University of Denver’s Special Collections and Archives, leads a virtual discussion of “Woodstock West,” the University of Denver’s multi-day protest in response to the Vietnam War. The webinar was held on the 50th anniversary of the first day of the protests (May 5, 1970). Class of 1970 alumnus Jim Wagenlander, Associate Professor Sheila E. Schroeder from DU's Department of Media, Film & Journalism Studies and Ved Nanda, Evans University Professor and Thompson G. Marsh Professor of Law joined in discussing the protest and answering questions from the audience.
